FEG respects the privacy of the User and therefore will protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal data. Purpose of the treatment

For what purpose do we process your data?
FEG deals with the information provided by the interested persons or organizations in order to carry out:

  • All constitutional and membership communication aims, newsletters, press release publications, training opportunities, requests for information, EU invitations and public relations.

In the event that FEG processes your data for a different purpose than that for which it was obtained (defined above) information on this new purpose will be provided before said processing.

The interested party will have sole responsiblity in the event of having provided false, inaccurate, incomplete or non-updated information.

For how long do we keep your data?
The data provided will be kept as long as its deletion or cancellation is not requested and whenever keeping it is appropriate, pertinent and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which the data was processed.

Will it be necessary for you to provide us with all your information?
Yes, it will be necessary to provide us with all data that is identified as required (marked with an asterisk) when you register.

Confidentiality

FEG undertakes to respect the confidentiality of your data and to use it in accordance with the purposes of the processing, as well as to comply with its obligation to store it securely and take all measures to avoid alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, in accordance with the GDPR.

Legitimisation

The legal basis for the processing of your data is based on the contractual relationship, as well as the express consent of the interested party by checking the boxes that allow commercial communications.

Can consent be withdrawn?
Yes, the interested party has the right to withdraw his consent at any time.

FEG does not use automated processes or create profiles with the data provided by the interested party.

Data transfer

In FEG we do not give your data to other companies, nor use it for commercial purposes.

What are your rights when you provide us with your information?
As stated in the General Data Protection Regulations, we inform you that you have the following rights:

  • Access your data: You have the right to access your data to know what personal information we are dealing with that concerns you.
  • Request the rectification or deletion of your data: In certain circumstances, you have the right to rectify inaccurate personal data which concerns you that is subject to processing by us, or to ask us to delete it when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes that it was collected.
  • Request limitation on the processing of your data: In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we inform you that we will only keep it only for the exercise or defence of claims as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulations.
  • To the portability of your data: In certain circumstances, you will have the right to receive the personal data that concerns you, and that you have provided to us, in a structured format, for common use and mechanical reading, and to transmit them to another data controller.
  • Oppose the processing of your data: In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you will have the right to oppose the processing of your data in which case, we would stop processing it except for legitimate compelling reasons, or the exercise or defence of possible claims.

Where should you go to exercise your rights?
To exercise your rights, as previously mentioned, you may contact FEG by email, indicating in the subject of the message "Data Protection", to the email address secretariat@feg-touristguides.org.

When will we respond to your request?
We will respond to your request as soon as possible and, in any case, within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request. Taking into account the complexity and number of applications received, this period may be extended for another two months in case of necessity, in which case, FEG will inform the interested party of such extensions within one month of receiving the request, indicating the reasons for the delay.

Do you have the right to complain?
Yes, if you are not satisfied with the exercise of your rights, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent authority of your country.

Prior to the presentation of said complaint, you should write to the email address secretariat@feg-touristguides.org.

With the aim of safeguarding the security of your data, we inform you that we have adopted all the necessary technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of the personal data provided, its alteration, loss, misuse, disclosure, and treatments or unauthorised access, as required by the regulations on the protection of personal data. In this sense, FEG guarantees the custody of the data under treatment, for which it will adopt the pertinent measures for such purposes, always in accordance with the state of technology at the time. Our security measures are constantly updated in accordance with technological development and obligations of the data protection regulations.

In the event that you provide data from a third party, you are informed that you will be responsible for obtaining the consent of the person and the data of same which you provide to FEG.

Also, if you have questions about the processing of your personal data, you can contact the entity described above, in our capacity as Responsible, who is at your disposal in case you need additional information on the processing of your personal data, you want make suggestions or you want to make a complaint.

FEG is not responsible for the treatment of your personal data by web pages that are not under FEG's domain, which you can access through the various links shown on our website, or the security measures adopted by any other Web page that allows a link with ours.

THIS LEGAL NOTICE OF DATA PROTECTION SUPERCEDES ANY OTHER LEGAL NOTICE / DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE CONTAINING ANY CONDITION THAT CONTRADICTS THAT WHICH IS ESTABLISHED HERE.
